Dear everybody,
After 8 months with no replies to this thread, any updates?
I have seen the following figures from some members with high mileage cars:
expo1 - 92.000 miles
swoope - 70.000 miles
About lambertRX8... it would be interesting to see what reads the highest mileage car of the club!!!
Cheers

January 14th 2007 -- currently ~5K miles
Loves oil, 87 octane, and a fuel filler cap replacement. My clutch pedal has squeaked since the day I drove it off the lot...just doesn't really bug me enough currently to do anything about it. Assuming I can stop getting tickets, this thing feels like it coud run forever.

Expo1 65k or LambertRX-8 100K does the engine run smoother and faster with miles on it compared to when it was new, has the mpg improved? Of course the 6 spd tranny can't get any better maybe a little smoother because of wear in.
The rest of you guys are just looking at the car and not driving it. Maybe some of you guys that pushing 20-30k got some hard time in.

He's as bad as Can
I hit 93,000 miles this week, I don't think its any smoother or faster than when I was at 5,000. I will be going to Pocono Raceway in July for some hard driving and will be better able to tell. After the "M Flash" (2004) I was able to get 21 mpg and depending on how I drive I still can get that.
