Try a locksmith. In principle a licensed locksmith should have access to key programming information.
Might not be that much cheaper, though. About 10 or 15 years ago I locked myself out of my Honda. AAA opened the door for free. Found the key inside, but if I had not the locksmith would have cut a new one for $50. That was just a plain key (no electronics) and a while back. But if a locksmith can handle this, you'll at least save a towing charge.

I'm not sure this would work on the 8, but on some cars you can disable the key detection system. IF that can be done you can simply take your title (proof of ownership) to the dealer and ask them to cut a key for you. You won't have to worry about programming it because that system would no longer check to see if you are using verified keys. The downside to this is that your car could be stolen more easily.
Any professional audio/security installation place should be able to disable your system for you. They usually do it for remote start systems and they should be familiar with it.
It all comes down to whether saving ~$200 is worth the decreased security of your car.
