2 little things i've loved are when i get out to it at night (i have a tendency to work 12+ hour days) and i unlock the doors, the lights come on and its like she's happy to see me.

Also i really love the red LEDs everywhere, casting a subtle glow on anything you might need to find. i was completely surprised when i noticed the one for the ignition. Adds so much quality to the overall package because of the subtlety.

I am about to get a garage finally and I know I'm gonna dig the built in garage opener in the rear view mirror. No ugly visor wart taking up space. I already love the electroluminescent dimmer.

Prob been said, but don't feel like reading back. too many fu&*ing pages. But, I def love the self adjusting rear view mirror. I live on an island full of rednecks, so everyones trucks are jacked and they ride your *** with their headlights in your mirror. Of course, now I have the flames, so I have two defenses.

+1. Also, if it is raining and you still want some fresh outside air, crack the moonroof slightly, and put the passenger window down about half an inch. Air will enter the passenger window, curl around the back of the car and rush forward over your left shoulder on it's way out the moonroof. Keeps your window closed and no water, maybe a couple drops on the passenger side, but gives plenty of fresh air.

lol dude, it was not only just said, it was in the post directly above yours. That's what electroluminescent means. But yeah, I know what you mean about f-ing rednecks that need to drive giant trucks that are so tall their lights all sit exactly at your eye level. Why is it that car makers think SUVs need way brighter lights than normal cars?

^hmmmm, you are right about the post....gatta love alcohol! also wanted to vent bout damn rednecks and bright lights. Which is another reason why I have dark tint on the back windshield. I had 5% on my camaro, now that sh*t worked good. I had it all around, so I had to roll down the windows to back up cause I couldn't see through it well enough to see into my mirrors. And when my rear view mirror fell off, well there was no point putting it back on cause I couldn't see through the back neways.

Actually...

Electroluminescent is (assuming he used it correctly) most likely in reference to the white lettered gauge lights. You can turn them off, and leave them red, but when the power is on they glow (become luminescent) white. The process by which our mirrors work is most likely electrochomism.

I love how my car has a radio....

i know it comes standard on most cars but before my 8 I drove two junkie little rice rockets taht didn't have radios. It sucked whenever someone was in my car - I had to listen to them breathe from time to time. Oh, and when there was an annoying chick in my car, i actually had to listen to her. I swear one of the most annoying things in the world is hearing someone of the opposite sex bitch, moan and complain about someone that you don't even know.

+1 for blinding me with headlights.

One thing that makes me happy: Water on my 8 in the morning. I live really close to the freeway, so when I get on and going around 70, the water kinda pools up in the lines of the hood right in front of me. I know, weird, but it makes me happy.

+1 about the water

even my brother says, he likes how when getting up to freeway speeds the water just slides right off of the car, its cool because by the time i get to where i'm going my car is completely dry! haha

and where the rotrary shape is on the hood, i like how water just pools up in the crack and goes no where. no matter how hard you drive, it just stays in there. kind of amusing to watch.

I do this all the time^^^^^^^. I also like how the moonroof cover/shade has vents in it so you can let the hot air out and still keep out the sun.

nah keedy I think you're right actually.
the tinting mirror is electrochromic. I used electroluminescent incorrectly.

I agree. Hit the window buttons and the sunroof button at the same time, while only holding the passenger side button, and in less than 3 seconds it's instant fresh air.

Zoom, Zoom!

I have a love/hate relationship with the far left A/C vent. It's kind of annoying that it never hits my face, but I do like the fact that it cools my hands while driving hard, or just leaves a cool spot on the wheel if I haven't blocked it in a while.

I gotta get this on camera one of these days - it's probably he biggest kick outta owning my 8.

but my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE 'little thing' (no homo)about my car is when i'm stopped at the light and some guy's girlfriend will look at my car while she's with her boyfriend in his car. I LOVE how they instantly forget they're in their boyfriends car when they're looking at my 8. I love it even more when their boyfriend has to snap them out of it too

One time a friend asked me why i liked my 8 so much (this coming from a mustang GT owner) I said: "True we may not have the most horsepower on the road - true we may not be the best looking cars and true it may not be YOUR ideal dream car/panty dropper....but try convincing your gf that"

I completely agree with you. They hear me coming up behind them and look to see what the sound is, then they see the car and their eyes get locked. Then you give them a little smile right before their bf yells at them! I feel no worries knowing their bfs pos stands no chance in catching me.

+1 My most memorable one like this was awesome. The GF/Wife was a good looking gal in her 30s, the BF was a douche-looking kinda-guy, and the car they were in was a Ferrari 360 She was definately looking over the 8 smiling, he was trying to talk to her, finally he looked past her to me, got this mad look on his face, and floored it, easily hitting 140+ before letting off.

It was awesome.
