ok I finally got my new RX8 its a 2006 gt MT date built 1/06 so its an early model its brand new has been at the dealer ever since April of last year, now as we all know dealers know **** so when i asked them they said that it has the latest flash how will i know that??? i checked my battery its only 25 amp crank and there was an extra battery in my trunk probably because the car was standing at the dealer so long they replaced a new battery without following the STB?? The latest recall for the battery replacement and new spark plugs and starter was in 2006 i guess mid year and i got the car now so how do i know i have the latests flash....should i try flooding the car LOL

 

If the Recall 4206F recall work was done you have the latest Flash. The Dealer, MazdaUSA can confirm that if there isn't a recall sticker under the hood.

 

heed the warning....if you haven't had it, and you're not showing signs of needing it...DONT get it.

^ Like he said. I am out of warranty and wrote Mazda USA a letter about two concerns I had before I would let them work on running fine RX-8. They blew me off with a form letter so I will not get the 4206F work done.
