I just got back from mazda after purchasing the last brand new rx-8 in Ontario canada.........It is the gs model and is titanium grey!!!looks sweet indeed......just out of curiousity,,,,,what is the weight difference from the gt and gs models with the 6spd tranny?

 

The cult welcomes you. How was the buying experience with the dealer you chose? Titanium Grey is a nice choice. (White doesn't seem to be going over too well, or am I wrong?) Just one more thing: I hope snow tires are in your budget. You WILL need them.

 

For all the Canadians out there, what is the "GS" model equivalent to in US terms... the Touring package?? I never understood why the model designations sometimes vary between US and Canadian cars.

What's a GS?
I thought the options were Sport, Touring, or Grand Touring?

 

In Canada we only get the GS and GT model.

Thanks for the warm welcome..........I am a former turbo 2 owner and It wasn't love at first site when i saw the 8 but over the year it grew on me.....now I spend almost half my day dreamin of her.....geez thanks mazda!!!!!
