in states like North Dakota and such, where there is nothing around, you can get your permit @ 14 and you only have to have it for 6 months before getting your license....it's really wack. I didn't like waiting until i was 16 to be able to legally drive...but w/e, at least i feel a little safer knowing the drivers around me have at least gone through puberty!

I just started reading this thread so forgive my backtracking, but, what is an organzied street race? is that when you and your buddies jump on cell phones to determine a time and street to meet at and race, or some legal event??

I'm a pretty lucky 17 year old to! i got my Winning Blue on February 6, 2004. I was so excited! To your question, for body accessories i would go to maybe RX-8 Store (www.rx8store.com) and for performance parts try Mazdatrix (www.mazdatrix.com). Both have great selections and Mazdatrix offers video and sound clips of different RX-8 exhausts, etc. I was going to get the Greddy SP2, but after hearing it i liked the Racing Beat better....good luck!

i said i will have been driving 3 years in one month; in one month ill be 18 there fore i will have been driving since i was 15 which is when i got my permit, also i can hold 3 jobs and attend HS because one job i do after school and one on the weekends and the other is only occasional when i get the extra time to do it, im A+ certified so i do network installs and computer repair and for any of you that are in that buisness you can make pretty good money, and yes i had to use my uncles credit to get the car but I pay for it, ill have a lil extra money when i finish my VB course im currently taking and ill use that to get any parts i want, and yes i am grateful to myself for getting this car because i feel like i have accomplished something so go ahead and find something else to be ********* about!

And where do you live so I can stay off the road that night. You sound like me 10 years ago. Thank God My I could only afford a Ford Tempo back then because I surely would have killed myself or someone else ina vehicle that can easily get up to 140.

 

hmmm... maybe my four years of college is a waste? i'm expecting to struggle financially after struggling physically and mentally for four years... maybe i should've done what sausage did. not raggin on ya, but i will say, i'm jealous. sounds like what you make now without a hs diploma is more than i'm gonna get after i finish college.
