what up guys, im also 17, so i guess there's 3 luckiest 17 year olds?? I ocassionally race in organized street races. I love my 8, but it is not a performace car. But you really don't need performance, becasue at the end of the day, you can always pick up a lady with curves as nice as the 8's, or maybe even 3 ladies.

Has this board really changed, or were all of the childish, anti-social ******** on vacation in mid-September when I joined?

Well CheeseGr8terBOY, Thank you for your very thoughtful and informative answer. I pity your kids. I am not 17 and was just looking for alittle info... This board is your personal control zone, the one place where you feel powerful and in charge. The only place you can pick at people and not answer for it.... I am here to tell you MR. GRATER I WILL NOT BE GROUND!

My bad for confusing you and SausageBoy... but you can't expect such a vague question like 'when there will be an easily installed turbo, and how much' and get a simple answer... there isn't one.

and don't pity my kids... if they want to drive fast, they're going to learn to the right way. I'll be taking my oldest daughter autocrossing before she gets her license in a few years- what the hell is wrong with that?

Nothing is wrong with that. Infact it sounds quite nice. As far as the turbo you would think by now there would be one already available.... ..........

Your answer wasn't complex. It was obnoxious.

You can still get some track time in an automatic. It won't be as fast as the manual, but it'll get you a lot of seat time, and that's what matters.

If you have an auto for whatever reason, keep it. It still has some tuning potential, but not nearly as much as the manual. Like I said, take your car to the track, strip, auto-X, dirt trail, whatever, and get some experience. When you think you're good enough, get a manual transmission car and let er' rip.

hey man dont let these people's opinions get to you.

Im 17 also and im in the market for a new car, a new sports car thank you very much! lol, but anywho i am considering the g35 coupe, the rx8, wrx sti, and the 05 mustangs GT, i also saw a GTO today on the streets and checked it out, has a pretty nice interio.

Well back to my question, you ahve had the car for waht 3, 4 months? and you are already bored with its so called " power " that is really sad, Do you feel liek u need more power? Cause if thats the case... i will drop it from my consideration list. IM me on AIM at SSJKkwik87 if you wanna chat or just PM me. Late

If I'm ever bored with six gears to row through at 9000rpm, shoot me.

I am the luckiest 27 year old there is... I bought my own RX-8, have enough money to go buy a few more RX-8s if I wanted to without asking permission from my parents, and on top of that, I don't have to wonder how much I should save up to buy performance enhancement parts for my cars... I can just go out there and buy it. Woohoo... The joy of being an adult. :P
