Talking i think i have a problem with my cd player.

Ok so after goin for months without nothing to report on my car, i have notice that my cd player keeps ejecting my Cds, this has been goin for a while, but at first i tought since i was using copies that maybe the software i was using to burn the cds was the cause of it, (since i heard about them makin the software do that if it wasnt a legit copy). its gettin ridiculous now. it happens when starting the next track, it doesnt read it and says "check disk". if i switch between disks it happens, if i turn off the car and turn it back on it might not read it, ill have to re load the cd and then kicks in.

i search on it and i found a thread with similar problems but no final fix. i already made an appointment with mazda to have checked out, but you guys know how it is, i have to let people my problems.

Did you try putting in better CDs? I mean, instead of that crap you usually listen to... probably the car is saying "Enough already, play some GOOD music!"

I sometimes have problems when it's really cold. The CD will fog up and won't play. After the cabin warms up a bit, it works just fine.

Or is time to upgrade to the MP3 CD player. But of course you can always go find a cheap replacement unit and install it yourself.

Is it dirty inside? How can you clean it?

Or maybe it finally got fed up with your taste in music?

I've got an appointment with the dealer next Friday for the same issue. I'll let you know how it goes.

lol at first i tought the same, so i changed to all types of music, same problem. i even change media type for the cds i was burning. used different programs to burn them. another thing that happen a long time ago when they gave my car the first flash, my cd player used to display text like name of the track and artist, also radio station name. then it just stopped. i care less for that but i wonder if i should mention it.

You do see that the last post is from January 2007?

Probably not going to get a reply from those folks... maybe somebody else will answer.
