Well i need ur honest opinions on the Rx-8... i'm thinking of either getting the rx-8 07 or the Honda integra... but i'm drifiting along the edges...the mazda is a beauty.. thats all i can say.. ive changed my mind coz.. theres heaps on integras in my area.. and i jus want a headturner.... so is the rx-8 a :

Headturner?
Beauty on the road?

1) def. a headturner.. theres more beamers on the road than 8s... definitely catches eyes
2) beauty on the road in more than 1 way. handling, and the look

i rate it 10 (rx8+2 rotors)

are you comparing the rx-8 to the integra?

let me phrase it in a way which will get the least criticism from integra owners

RX8= Jessica Alba
Integra= Fat Chick.......

that is probably gonna be the least criticism someone can give

fixed for accuracy

which basically means.. you still may get heads turned in an integra.. but not head turns you want.

Only a head turner if you got nice wheels and lower it.

Then shoot flames out the back. You ain't got that emmission crap to worry about down there mate.

See HYMEE in Australia. He can fix you up.

And welcome to the forum.

RX-8. No question.

A few years back i considered an Integra. Wound up buying an Accord because the Accord was so much nicer and cooler than the Integra. What does that say about I's?

-8R out of 10

R = a variable
x is the multiplication symbol
- is the negative symbol
8 = 8

therefore R x( - 8) = -8R

Where R is in the range of [-1.25, -1]

man im so bored...

The RX8 looks fast standing still. Parked in our driveway or anywhere else. But you'll loose bigtime if you go againsted a boosted integra in a drag race.

Wait... 07 8 vs what.. 2001 integra?? Are we even talking about type R or just base model??

This is quite rediculous as you are comparing one of the best handling rwd vs fwd (some say type R is one of the best fwd.. but still!).

Not only that, 30K vs maybe 20k car. If you are asking this question, you should just stick to Integra... LOL!

In its day the 95-2001 Integras were definitely a hot car... beautiful styling, super reliable and with the VTEC motor, gave you an 8K+ redline. BUT, they have been come outdated. The RSX replaced it and unfortunately, very few people can tell the difference between the RSX and the new Civic. I don't consider the Civic a head turner.. therefor the RSX is certainly not a head turner. The RSX is plagued with some transmission problems.. even up till '07.
I think there is a big dif in price between an RX8 and an "Integra". Apples and oranges?

So, RX8 seems to me to be the hottest looker and hottest performer.

My rides:
96 Integra (sold)
93 Civic Hatch (daughter')
95 Civic (son's)
01 BMW Z3 Coupe (being sold)
06 MX5 conv (son's)
07 MX5 PRHT my toy
05 RX8 (soon to be)

350Z's and RSX's and EVO's and WRX's flooded in my area and my car gets compliments all the time. Nuff said.

No, get the Integra. That way there's one less 8 on the road and my car stays just a bit more special.

Oh, wait, you're in Oz. Go ahead and get the 8.

simply being unique turns heads.

my last car was a chrysler lebaron. which i kept in pretty good condition, until i blew the transmission.

its a lebaron (crappy car) for sure. but its semi-rare, and more rare to see one in such good shape.

integras are everywhere. nobody even notices them anymore unless you spend 10k on some serious body mods.

everyone notices the rx8. nobody knows what it is (is that a ferrari?) and its drop dead gorgeous.

You must be kidding. You simply can't compare the uniqueness (wait, is that a word) of the RX8 vs. a run of the mill Acura...and I say ACURA, because regardless of what model it is, it still is unoriginal.

How could you compare owning "THE ONLY CAR IN THE WORLD WITH A ROTARY POWERPLANT" to an Acura? You simply can't.

My brother from another mother, here's my advice. Follow your instinct and your inner child. If you are unique and always find yourself making waves and going against the grain, then you already have your answer.

Peace...
