I might sell my car... ideas of what I'll get?
Hey guys,
Gas prices are rising.. and I have already created a thread about what car to buy. Now I am asking you guys for a new response. My car is a 2004 Titanium Grey RX-8 (auto 4spd) with 50k miles. It has a salvaged title (front bumper damage when I bought it.. we built it back up.. new bumper, new radiator). How much do you think I can get for it in about 3-4 months. Its in excellent condition, I take it to my dealer once every two months for a full check and oil change. I have never had one problem with it, and I am a non-smoker. Its got a sports interior (non-leather) and I'll include both my Ipod adaptor and kenwood 200watt sub (fits perfectly where the spare wheel is supposed to be). I would also include 4 summer tires (contisport).
Now remember, this is a salvaged title, so watcha all think?

well if someone has a "tutorial" on how to removed salvage (cus it literally just had a beaten bumper), i'd greatly appreciate it. I was hoping for 12-13k .
Thanks again for the advice so far,

I just bought an 04 with 31,000 miles for $15,700. 6sp grand touring that stickered at $32,250. Non smoking- garage kept.
Another FYI- most finance companies won't touch a salvage car so you would need a cash buyer. I spent 7 years as a finance manager for a Volvo dealer, there's no way to change a salvage title that I'm aware of.
Hope that helps!

My thoughts exactly. What else happened to it? Fess up. I got in a fender bender with my car 2 years ago and had to replace the front bumper and oil cooler. It doesn't have a salvage title.

Maybe it was stolen at the time of the damage and the insurance co. had already paid the owner for the car. Then it would be salvaged with little damage.
Just guessing,
