Anyone besides me still waiting for a recall letter? As of today (3/20) I haven't received one. I guess I could just go down to the dealer and say, "hey - fix me," but I want the gesture - I want some encouragement that these guys are competent and on top of things.

 

never got a letter.. called mazda, and they said I should have gotten one a long time ago.

 

I haven't gotten a letter either. Last week we brought the car in to the dealer with a CEL problem and the service advisor mentioned the recall and suggested that we have it done. Went fine.

They also reflashed the PCM to fix the CEL problem. Say- does anyone know from the info on my service reciept if the most recent reflash was done? I don't see any letters like "K" or "L". All it says:

correction: reflash PCM per service bulletin #01-024/03

i havent gotten my recll letter yet either. when i called the dealer last week i was told they had to wait for the recall letter. i think i'll wait until later this week then call again a bit more forcefully.

 

No Recall letter here. I've had my RX-8 since the beginning of January. I got the survey, filled it out sent it back, even got the touch up paint thank you kit, which, by BTW makes a nice little stand for my 1/18 Auto Art RX-8, but no other correspondence.

 

I haven't gotten my letter yet either. Bought my '8 in December, and I have a VIN that qualifies for the damper recall too. I figure I'll give it another week or two before I call 'em. Maybe they're going alphabetically (I'm a 'W').

 

I heard an airbag didn't deploy in a wreck because of faulty wiring. The dealer told me about this after I asked about the recall on the 8th. I still haven't received a letter.
