My 11 year old son was thrilled to see he got an RX8 like his dads for his birthday. Well not exactly, but Jada toys (jadatoys.com) makes a very nice 1:10 scale RC RX8 that looks very much like the real mazdaspeed version which my son is quick to point out that mine is not so his is better. Anyway it's a nice gift idea for all you dads out there with future car nuts out there, In fact I my even try out his gift after I'm done testing it (for safety reasons of course)..:D

when are you guys gonna race?

 

There is an unused parking lot down the street from my house that used to be a gas station. All the neighborhood kids use it for skateboarding and racing their RC cars. I have to say that I have seen some races with over 10 cars and it can actually be pretty exciting. It can also be quite expensive after a big crash with these cars ranging from 40 to 100 dollars. Luckily my kid is a pretty good driver just like me

 

KING COBRA: You are very close to me (Easton PA). Let me know where you purchased one of them. I know my nephew would absolutely love one of those for his birthday. He loves cars, and he just thinks my rx8 is the greatest. Who am I kidding, I also want to tell my gf where to get one, so I can have it for my birthday to cruise around the roads in. I'm a kid at heart. lol LET ME KNOW. Thanks!!
