dang it which albertos was this??? was it on lincoln and walker... I am totally trying to remember here..

But yeah north Cypress sucks because its so close to that crap town called Hawaiian gardens. The cops do a pretty good job in Cypress but spill over still occurs.

Also I never have had a problem with people keying/egging my car (keeping fingers crossed) and all the kids on my street love the car. I get waves from all of them. Even the pot smoking douchebags who live next door respect it.

 

HG is pretty ghetto... ever since that casino entered that area, so many homeless ghetto bums sit around in HG.

Hawaiian Gardens should be part of the 909 area code. :P

 

the only good thing in HG is Tacos San Pedro.. beats albertos any day of the week...

I just make sure I don't park my 8 there.

and the casino was the worst idea of them all. I wish a developer would buy all the land in Hawaiian Gardens and turn the place into something respectable.

So were the eggs hard boiled when you fished them out of the tail pipe? or were they broken inside.. ugh that would have been a pain..

actually it wasnt the albertos in cypress it was the new 24 hr albertos on carson and norwalk. also they didnt put an egg in my exhaust they cracked it on my exhaust :/

thanks everyone for the advice and your support. hope none of you guys ever go through this again. my car is alright... just the paint chipped a little.... in a circular pattern

 

How long were you at that Albertos? I mean, it doesn't seem likely someone would wait around with a carton of eggs to trash someone's car.. would it?

Maybe it happened at school.. or at home if you park outside and didn't notice it.

 

My car got egged and keyed back when I live on an apartment complex. That's why my wife and I moved to a house with agarage....oh, wait! that was supposed to remain between the 8 and me!

Now, seriously, my car got egged back in September last year. You have no idea how pissed I was about it. But there was literaly nothing I could do. And THAT was the sign I needed to start considering buying a house instead of leasing an apartment.

I can post pictures of such emotional time if anyone is interested; although they fail to capture the dry-egg yolk consistency after a few hours of exposure to cold climate...

 

I got egged last week. I was parked in my crappy parking structure at my crappy apartment. Luckilly, they only got the rear bumper and the exhaust. Also, I wasn't the only car they hit. It looks like they just drove down the drive throwing eggs.

Hmm, so three or four coats of Zaino or other high quality wax won't protect your paint from dried egg white?

 

My Miata has been egged twice; once in the parking lot at Puente Hills Mall, and once while parked on a residential street in Westwood.

The multiple coats of Zaino protected the paint from the dried egg, but the eggshells themselves create concentric target-like gouges in the paint as they shatter against it. Those don't buff out.

What really sucked was that my top was down; eggs were thrown into the cockpit and oozed down through the defroster vents all the way through the ventilation system behind the dash. Egg was dripping onto my feet from the heater vents as I drove home.

It all eventually dried out with minimal odor, but when I turn on the heater or defroster I still occasionally get little fragments of eggshell flying out.

 

Wow, makes me think about installing a spycam at different angles inside my 8 so I would know which head to shoot through.
