I HATE this car...

I HATE this car...
Now OUT of warranty with 85k miles.
Put a new cat pipe on it to replace the cat converter, bought the rx7store one for about $400
Now I need moter mounts due to heavy idiling... what are we looking at? $150-200 for both front mounts?
Still have reoccuring condensation in my tail light .
Middle console door broke off.. found a site..$45 for the stupid piece.
It all seems to be happening as soon as I'm out of warranty, their cust service doesn't budge with the 80k mile thing so I'm just venting here..
Seriously, this car is a nightmare and it's killing my funds.
What's next?

Sucks that it's all happened at once, but they're pretty much all wear items.
~250 for motormounts (parts only)
~free to fix your tail light
~45 for your console issues doesn't seem too big of a deal.
Things could be a lot worse, and then some.

ha ha omfg.
first, as jason said, it's 100k, not 80k, but that's just the core engine. i think all the parts the op is complaining about is actually only 50k or 60k.
dude, motor mounts (sorry, deal w/ it, you have a car that has 85 THOUSAND miles on it!), a console thing (it's 50 bucks, get a grip), and the taillight should still be covered by the dealer, i think.
good god, you've got 85k, any and every car needs maintainence...you're whining about $500 or $600?? wait until you have transmission problems or something. sell it and lease a kia please.

I know it's wear but it's all happening at once, can be overwhelming...especially when the funds are tight.
I called to verify the warranty for the motor mounts but that was 60k.
I didn't list how my visor has broken 2x already, I did leave out some trivial issues.
I did forget to mention how my radio doesn't play cd's until the car is warmed up or they just skip.... sometimes the cd player cuts out for a second as well, not over bumps either.

ha ha well in our defense, you only listed 4 things, 2 of which are miniscule (sp??), and you said you HATE the car...
that's just part of owning a car for this many years and miles...stuff happens. i understand the cat sucks if you're just a few thousand miles out of warranty, but the other stuff is relatively minor, and you're going to get them or similar things with any car that has 85k on it. good luck w/ the motor mounts though.

They're pretty indestructible but kinda boring.
Tail light and door you can pretty much just ignore.
Motor mounts are wear items, sorry.
Just run catless = more power and save money.

metra kit plus halfway decent radio that will sound loads better anyway is probably 3-400 bucks, unless you go double din then add another 2-300 to that or more if you want fancy fancy. I don't know how people put up with stock stereo's after I've been without one for years now, it's such a huge difference in sound and other options it's not even fair to compare.

Just because one can buy a car cheap, doesn't mean it's cheap to repair. Assuming your tightness of funds is not due to unforeseen circumstance, your problem is poor planning. To pick a number, $9k will buy a very fine reliable Corolla, or a near worn-out RX-8. Which do you think is the wiser choice, given your "tight funds"?
No money + no mechanical skills (or time/place to do work yourself): don't buy an RX-8.

You guys can be real dicks sometimes, you know that?
Seriously, you condemn anyone who doesnt embrace the car as the greatest thing since sliced bread, or even begins to question it's practicality.

Yeahhhh. Regardless of whether it is a great car or not, when you have to spend money on stuff instead of wanting to spend money on stuff, it always sucks and pisses you off hahaha.
