pour some octane booster now and again with half a tank. Always run premium!

ive got almost 100,000 miles on my car, none of the compression problems or anything else and almost all of it has been on 87 octane and 20w50 in florida.

^^ what year is your car? and how many miles you drive a day.and plus that my oil i run but i keep 92oct in mine

and as for dozer.... yeah just put sugar in his tank....

^+1 put sugar in DOZERS tank

and I have ran 87 octane most of the time and 70k with never replacing anything..no coils no plugs, no nothign! Change my oil every 3k... 5w30

Drive it. Any modern factory car should be able to detect and tune for whatever fuel octane in coming through the injectors.

Heck- I remember a discussion back in 05 about some people getting better hwy mpg with regular fuel.

Damn, 87!!!!! I mean, it's okay to put diesel in the tank now and again but 87!!!! You're motor is gonna blow!

Well I made it through the tank of regular.
I filled it up with High Octane afterwards.

04. used to do 110 miles a day for the first 80K until 07. Moved closer to work, only drive it occasionally now.

you'd be amazed how much better the car runs with new coils and plugs and a MAF cleaning.

the only time I have ever had trouble with 87 is when it was CHEAP 87 and when it was nearly 100 outside. Car would stall or nearly so at idle sometimes. It wont ever do that on good name brand gas even 87.
