Just out of curiosity, how much did you guys spend on your RX8 in terms of modification? Not maintenance...

I just spent another $$$ on MS upgrade.
So far, I have spent $5k on top of RX8 purchased from day one brand new. See my signature for details.

I love the look of Mazdaspeed RX8 Version 2. However, it will take me another $5K to complete this project. ($3K for MS body kit, $2k for suspension). :D

mebbe $2500.

but the thing is the upgraded pieces were all replaced because the OE part needed to be replaced. (ie, muffler was bent when someone swiped me when i was parked.)

if i look at things just replaced for no reason. its more like $800. but thats jumping with my CAI in the mail (yay teamrx8). coming really soon are my race pipe and eibach pro kits.

The amount i've spent pales into insignificance against the money I could have made if I didn't waste so much time on here .

Monthly payment and gas. I'm hell-bent on finishing getting the 6 paid off by next spring. Only mod I have planned for the RX8 is getting rid of those god-awful stock speakers for something really nice.
