I'm probably in the Chrism neighborhood and will pass him probably in the next round. To be honest, I try not to put a price tag on the car as I'd surely be disappionted. But, then again, I've enjoyed owning, driving, and working with it. If I had pooled my mod money into my initial purchase budget, I would have just bought a more expensive car (maybe - there wasn't a more expensive car on my shopping list) and then spent money on even more expensive parts.

I actually got a really good deal, won a hit '04 rx8 on auction for 3500, repaired it and it came out to be about $7000 total. It has Grand touring package with ever option available, including GPS. Also got Lambo doors, Greddy exhaust, Tein springs and more.

More than I care to admit, but I am afraid to total it all up, and it is still going up.

I've only spent about $25. The LightInSight, plus some trim to put around the license plate.

Does that make me a bad person?

who said anything about stuff being broken?
I think the OP meant how much did you spend on upgrades.

probably around 2 grand by now. not counting my new tires which would bring it up to almost 3 or so.

Just a spoiler..and a new shift ****...with a set of winter wheels and tires....can't see spending big money on an already unique car...nobody even knows what it is anyway....I spend money for gas and to keep it clean and running great...no additional needed...If I want to spend bigger money i'll buy an A5 Audi and have less fun driving with more bragging rights....

its a figure of speech, it means theres nothing wrong with the way the car looks or its power, therefore no need to upgrade it

More time intalling mods, less time adding up the figures.

I don't dare itemize how much I spend on my car. It's a really simple rule and is not limited to just my romances with vehicles.

Some things are best left uncalculated... especially when there's a wife at bay.
