I'm just wondering how many Smartkeys does the 06 rx8 comes with? 2 right? Is there a separate valet key? Or is it tucked into the keycard? thanks.

There are two advanced keys with the '06. My salesman couldn't find the second one and when I made it clear that I wasn't going to buy his bullshit about there only being one, he fessed up that the second was lost. I don't know about the valet key.

When I bought my 06 salesman gave me two keys. One primary and one backup. (same key)

Yes, the 06 comes with two of the advanced keys. If you pull on the bottom right corner, a physical key slides out.
