I have owned mine since 2/2004 and still enjoy the car just as much as I did on day one. With 138,000 miles on it ( 27,000 on a 2nd motor ) the resale is very poor so there is no reason to get rid of mine yet.

For me ever time I drive her it feels like the 1st time but with more experience. So until the smile and joy she provides ends I will ride her hard till death do us part.

was supossed to get rid of it along time ago...but just havent because I really do love my car. 2nd week of january I got a car which I'm supposed to switch into then I'll be able to sell my 8. its a 2006 rebuilt title which my father fixed for me. Im hoping with the economy no one cares to buy a rebuilt. only reason I'm selling is because my gf is forcing me to

I've owned my RX-8 for 5 years and I intend to keep it until I croak. Then I want to be buried in it.

Then I want to be buried in it.

As long as I can... if it dies after the 8 years runs out, I'll swap to electric.

my 8 will remain mine as long as i'm above ground and not bankrupt. i'm not so worried about resale as my 8 is a summer weekend driver for me. it is such a unique car that it will always have a spot in my garage

I plan to keep it at least long enough to teach my 2 year old to drive. It will be 20 years old at that point, and it will become my daughter's car at that point.

Even if I can afford the Aston Martin saloon, I am keeping my RX-8.

I've had it since 6/04. I don't think I will ever sell it. I'll probably turn it into a track/race car after a few more years.

Well, I have 55k on it and just got a new engine and cat. I'm thinking about getting rid of it for like $12000. Its an 04 GT BB w/ nav and updated map disc. Hoping to sell it in the spring so I can get me a 2009 or 2010 RX8... maybe a 2011

Until the motor dies (or I force it to die at about... 99,000 miles :P)

or until after college when I can afford another car like it... which won't be soon...
