how the heck did it get in there?

self explanatory...
i know people have had spiders in their rear taillights, but how did this get in there???
it grosses me out knowing its up there... i think its dead cuz it doesnt move but GAHHH the dealership is closed for the next 3 days! can ne1 explain how? i've never opened the head lamp unit or unscrewed it

i haven't messed with it myself, but from the looks of it, a pocket flat head screw driver might be able to pop the lens off. but don't blame if anything breaks. :D

It probably got there the same way the electriciy does...cables got to go somewhere. Do you have a sunroof? Maybe that way as well?

look in the owers manual there is a section on replacing light bulbs and there are instruction on removing the map lights. That sould get the bug out of there

I think it came like that from the factory, you just didn't notice it yet :D

Japanese import cricket or grasshopper or whatever...

Let me guess, the insects are actually "bugs" :D To hear what we are saying in our cars, so they know what we complain about? No, that can't be right, otherwise they would have Mazda Speed FI, available, and keep our cars under warranty.

I agree. Maybe it was born in there from an egg that was deposited in the light when it was being assembled.

Do it yourself. Then you can cj\hange the color of the light. you can even install a light for the sunroof!

DON"T USE THESE INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they will damage your headliner permanently

read the DIY on this one and it is easy to just yank the thing out pulling it toward the windshield, take you 5 minutes to get that bug out, meanwhile swap the bulbs out for superwhite :D

.... thanks magellen!!! i was just gonna look at my manual and plan how i was gonna take it out! i opted to go the manual way over the DIY section way just so i can do everything by the "book"...

i think imma just go to the dealer :/ get a free wash while im there
