how do I tell what series my 8 is ??
curious how I'd tell if my car is a series 1 or 2 ??

Judging by your signature, you have a Series 1, a 2004.

Here's a series one..



And, a series 2.



The series 2's have a facelift, the gauge cluster's a bit different, and a various amount of other features.

Just to clear something up for the OP - Series goes by the year the car was made. There were no "Series" for the same year (May be confusing 'Series' for different trim options?)
