Yeah, if it makes you feel any better, that's exactly the kind of thing that would happen to me. Check everything over two or three times real carefully and STILL miss something obvious. You're not the only one.

...and if you drive it out of the lot, it's your problem now, not theirs (except for the warranty you got from them).

It sucks, I have a bad wheel bearing on that side. I'm fighting them to have it covered under the warrinty.

Why are you fighting with them over the warranty?
Tell the manager of the dealer that you either want them to replace the wheel bearing under the warranty that you paid extra for, or you want them to fully refund the cost of the warranty, since they refuse to honor it.

If they refuse, advise them that your car will be parked across the lot with a huge sign telling their customers not to buy any warranty from them, as they don't live up to their promises.
