Hi flow cat or straight pipe?

what do you guys think , the rp super cat or the racing beat straight pipe , in terms or sound which is louder ? more hp?

midpipe will have you throwing flames and free up 5-10 horsepower and will be loud, but you wont pass emissions. Supercat is more liveable. Ive never driven with either but I had a similar thread of my own so thats what I gathered from that, search "midpipe advice", that has all the info.

yup, what renny said, it just depends on if you get emissions tested a lot, and if you like the gas smell

Also there is a large chance that you will throw a Check engine light with the straight pipe, and the smell can get overwhelming. If you already have an aftermarket exhaust the straight pipe will be LOUD. If cops around your area give ricers a hard time, be prepared to be pulled over.

ive got the borla aftermarket exhaust with the gutted straight pipe, and they are right it sounds LOUD and MEAN, just a bit tricky to get around emissions...

If you want to pass the sniffer high flow cat if not then straight pipe but the will be loud how ever the straight pipe or race pipe will be louder.

I speak from experience. Buy the supercat.

I had a straight pipe and yeah, it was loud but the worst part was the overwhelming smell of exhaust fumes that came into the car at every stop. It was rough.

After a few days, I took it off and sold it.

^Sounds like you have an Exhaust leak. Sould have had it checked out. But yeah the exhaust will smelle real bad.
