Depends on how much you are willing to spend. I would say that a short shifter would be a good gift..or maybe a set of sway bars?

I think he may really like some springs.. you can get some good springs in the $200-300 range. That will change the car in many ways. Many common springs are Swift Springs, Tein S-Techs, Racing Beat, or Tanabe springs among many others.

werd. a nice rotary shirt is always nice

a budget on what you're willing to spend would be nice too... e.g. ($25-50) ($200-300)

yeah i think a rotary shirt would do it. unless your really trying get him the axial flow short shifter for 250ish. every rx-8 needs one.

^^ you're a bastard for not replying to my pm lol. Yeah i agree Axial flow short shifter would be a great present , although its in the $200-$300 range. Gauges for what? Is he turbo? And also does he know how to read the gauges? I once had a friend who bought gauges (which i installed) and he didn't know what the numbers meant...priceless.

yeah it really depends on how much you want to spend and exactly what he is looking to do to the 8!!! I'm also saying the HID conversion would not b a bad idea...I personally would like the T-shirt so that's an option also..springs would help alot in looks and handling of the car....

Cheap suggestions-

Clear corners- $60-80

Oil Cap (Greddy, HKS, Mazdaspeed) $40-80

Shift **** ( Mazdaspeed, Voodoo, HKS) $50-$200
