People are crazy out there man, you gotta be careful. For all you know he could have had a gun or something. That's why I keep my tire iron in the backseat incase things start to get elevated.

lmao well i lived there, and if i had the F.O.B that opens the gate automatically it would be the same thing. I beeped him because the gate was about to hit me, i tailgate everyday, no one except this guy had a problem. The guard didnt even care lmao.

911SC is right, YOU caused the problem and now you’re mad because someone did and said something about it? What are you 12? Take responsibility for your actions. And yes it sounds like he lost his temper, but this type of thing probably happens to him all the time from people like you. And I guarantee he's not the only one that has a problem with you tailgating.

just because you do it every day and no one complains directly to you doesn't make it right. and just because you have a lazy guard who isn't doing his job doesn't make it correct.

In fact you should be upset that the security is so lax at this gated community. after all someone- you or your parents- is paying that guy to do a job he isn't doing well

You would bring a tire iron to a gun fight? Sheesh!

IMHO, everyone is wrong in this incident. Tweek for tailgating and swerving. The guard (as Zoom44 points out) for not enforcing procedures. And the guy in the Honda, for an inappropriate (and ineffectual) response. Didn't he realize that the right thing to do whould have been to yell "Moron!", maybe with some four letter words or racial slurs thrown in?

And the rest of us, for reading this thread.

It's like we've just participated in an episode of Jaywalking.

Getting away with anything, no matter how many wongs or wrights, only applies to Bugs.

Nobody beats the Wabbit.
