I decided not to buy blizaks, as the 8 is just my daily driver and did not want to spend close to 1000 bucks to buy them and mount them...ect....

I got the Goodyear RSA's in stock sizes and they have been awesome. I drove though 2 inches of snow on the highway for 20 minutes at or around 50-60 mph and it didnt lose grip once. Im very happy with them, and they were only 430 shipped!

you do know that those are not snow tires right? Those are all seasons...but yeah those are a very good overall tire and pretty quiet too....not abad price either...

 

i looked at the tread pattern, same as a winter tire. And obviously they work great. You dont always have to listen to manufacturers claims

 

I spent $780 getting Dunplop M3 snow tires on my 8. Expensive yes but I didn't think I had much choice. Plus these Dunlops are my tried and true choice for winter tires.

I asked around if All Seasons would suffice, but the general consensus was no.

Although you are happy now (new buyer on a product buzz), let us know what you think as we progess through this winter.
