Got an acciednt last night...

Damn...long story short...

1) I was trying to make a right turn on green ramp.

2) I thought a car in front of me was making a right turn, but he stopped for a sec and...

3) Boom..

The right side of my bumper, oil cooler, headlamp and fender was messed up.

Because of some rubber thingy, my car makes an annoying sound when making a turn.

I will post some pics later. I think an estimate is gonna around $2 grand.

This is also the first accident in entire of my life.

So sad...my 8's pretty face is just ruined...my fault...sorry. =(

In addition, ABS light and DSC light (skidding car illustration) just come on and leave forever.

I tried to reset everyhing, but they stay.

DSC off button doesn't work either. What's up with this?

The light thing happened to me when I wrecked. I think the lights stay on whenever you have a flat, the system freaked out, or not all of your tires and suspension are in sync anymore.

And I'm sorry to hear about your accident. I COMPLETELY understand how you feel. I wrecked mine 6 weeks ago, all my fault. Be thankful you're not hurt and best wishes to a speedy recovery!

Yes. I'm an international student at UCI and am from South Korea.

I've been here about 4 years.

Should I take it to the dealer to find out? or can the bodyshop handle it?

well I would say its up to you on where you want to take it. I would suggest a body shop. Most body shops will do a far better repair then the dealers.

Most likely the crash damage hurt some of the wiring to the wheel speed sensors, either that or the front suspension is bent enough to make that wheel turn at a different speed than all the others, therefore triggering the system. I'd say the first thing is more likely, however.
