I've read of a few people who have been considering running Mazda3 17" wheels for winter tires. Any first hand experience?? I've been thinking of doing the same, offset is a little bit larger than the recommended 50mm (52.5mm).

keep in mind that offset has to be considered in the context of wheel width. you cannot compare offsets of different wheel widths directly. use this offset calculator.

 

Cool thanks - for some reason i thought offset was measured from the outer edge of the rim and not the centerline. Centerline makes more sense...

 

I've been running fo 2 winters now with Mazda 3 17" wheels. No probs.
