Glad to be back in the rotary game...
Hello All...
Finally stopped driving the newest addition to my family - an '05 Whitewater Pearl 6-Speed RX-8 - long enough to post. I had been going through rotary-rocket withdraw for quite some time since my '89 2nd-gen 7 bit the dust in '98. I considered other cars for the last few years (what was I thinking )but have always still followed the Rotary scene with hopes of getting another. Then I wised up, found this site, joined and after reading several threads I had to have an RX-8 :D .
I got mine Saturday morning (never got to sleep that night) and still find my self looking for any excuse to drive this thing. Simply supurb and I look foward to learing anything and everything about this car as I can't resist some upgrades in the future :D .

Congrats! I know just how you feel. I had been without rotary power since '98 as well when I parted with my '93 FD RX-7 R1. You don't realize how much you miss the rotary until you're back in one again!
Great color choice too, would have been my second choice after Lightning Yellow.

Congratulations on your purchase! Welcome to the family! Many happy miles to you in your new RX-8!
Remember, though, you gotta keep that white looking top notch at all times

Another 2nd generation RX-7 owner here: 87 Sport model. Once the rotary fever gets into your blood, you're never cured. Hope you enjoy your latest outbreak.

Love your 8! But don't forget about the 7's ... visit your local "Save A 7" rescue center today! It's nice to have them both. The 7 is a little sloppy compared to the 8 though. Enjoy.
