Get extended warranty after purchase of 8?

I was wondering if its possible to purchase an extended warranty after purchasing your 8?

Also, what is the usual cost of this?

Mazda sometimes refer you to a third party company inside the warranty period. No matter where you're from though you will be paying big bucks. I'd be giving Mazda a ring to find out the latest...

Some debate whether it is worth it, however, as long as you do not plan on doing any warranty voiding mods, it may be. I anxiously await for my standard warranty to expired and go into my extended to see how much $$ I save. Already I have had quite a bit replaced under warranty and my car is still young. For the most part, its for piece of mind though...

I like this bit.....

2. FAILURE OF COVERED PARTS
We will pay the repair facility of your choice or reimburse You for reasonable costs to repair or replace any Failure of a part included in Your Coverage. Replacement parts may be new, remanufactured or replacement parts of like kind and quality.

In other words they can put in after market parts and you wont have a say in it...WHAT A RIP OFF!

Treat your car well and it will treat you well, save your money....

I bought mine while still under warranty and bought an extended warranty on it. It was cheaper since it was still under the factory warranty than it would have been if i waited longer (too long).

If you plan on keeping your 8 a long time then it is a good idea.

Going through Mazda is a ripoff, but independent extended warranties are good.
