mmm not sure exactally why, but try double clutching before putting it in reverse to see if that helps.
Reverse isnt syncro'd like the rest of the gearbox, so it might not always fully engage when you put it in reverse.
Also once u shift into reverse, ease off the clutch slightly while still putting pressure on the shifter towards the reverse gear to see if it slips in or engages more.

lol, well it has a use in racing, but i'd be more inclined to say during down shifts rather then acceleration...
when done during decel (or going around a turn), you wont lose control from the rear wheels jerking or whatever... but thats pretty much what heal toe is for.
try to shove the square block into the round hole of that fisher price toy we all love, then double clutch it and it'll fit

OK basically if i dont keep holding it down it will get out into 6th a few times before i get lucky. Btw this happened only recently and is starting happing more and more. So now i have the habit of just holding it down (i can feel it when it pops into the reverse gear, when the clutch engages.) and if i just put my hand on there with no pressure i can also feel it if it goes into 6th gear(well i cant tell which one it goes to but there is sure a little tug when it pops into one of them) . It is kinda weird but if i hold it it isnt a problem...but i am just wondering why it is happening in the first place.
