Gas sitting in tank

About a month ago i order a coil upgrade kit because my 8 was not firing. But besides that i have about a half tank of mixed gas in the tank and it has been sitting in there since i took the factory ignition off. (Yes batt is still disconnected). What should i do with the gas? Dilute it with more gas and stabilizer. Or syphon it out and replace with new. Any advice is welcome.
Thanks

I thought it might be lower octane.
It should be fine.
Mine sat for almost 3 months with no issues.
Fired right up.

Were you the one that ordered the Bennett Built kit?
Still no kit?

Yup thats me. I do remember you bigcajun. Still no kit. I guess they were out of stock when I ordered and they felt they didnt have to inform me for 2 weeks. I have also replaced the e-shaft sensor, new optima red top batt, and new starter.

For what it's worth, I've left my '04 sitting with fuel in the tank for about a year and didn't have any issues when I fired it up. I drove it straight to a gas station and topped it off - no indications of any problem at all. A month won't hurt you.

Was your gas mixed with 2 stroke. Does the oil separate after a while.

Even if it did separate, I doubt there's enough in there to negatively affect anything.
