Differences between RX8 and RX7 Engine
I know both the RX7 and the RX8 have the 13B in them. But besides the ports being moved to the side on the New Renesis, what are the main differences between the two Engines?

Different rotors, lighter with larger oil passages inside. Lighter counterweights to match.
Lighter flywheel.
Different stationary gears. Although interchangeable, the RX-8 gears are stronger.
Obviously different rotor housings and irons.
Coolant seals moved from the irons to the rotor housings.
Shorter apex seals. They are a stronger material though.
Addition of cutoff seal on the rotor sides.
Wedge shaped side seals as opposed to older, thinner flat style.
Steel corner seal insert instead of old rubber ones.
Dual oil injectors per rotor housing. Old style was 1 per housing and either 1 or none on the manifold.
I probably forgot something somewhere but basically nothing is shared between the 2 engines although certain pieces can be made to work on the other with some effort. Everything else that is bolted to the engine is different.
