BUT..... don't forget to redline once in awhilez to clear carbon... dont want to accumulate those black gold dust on ur 8...

Give up - rotaries don't get great gas mileage, you're always gonna have some unburnt hydrocarbons coming out, they don't combust that completely.

+1 on ground kit, also, for the look too, lower the front a bit. I got an instant 1 or so MPG with H-Tech. Payback for springs was about a year and a half. Car seemed to cut through air better with less noise too. Others have mentioned it as well. The grounding kit does help, or just clean and grease all the ground connectors. Makes the engine (specifically electronics) happier.

There is some other clean up stuff in the $100 thread in my sig. I started about 19, now same route is 21 to 21.5.

Highway, over about 75 mpg drops off fast.

I have MM Cobb, but am not really into the tuning cycle yet.

Plugs and Coils, if they are worn.

But, like many said, this is not a Prius. Look at it this way, on a track, according to Top Gear, Prius is only 17 mpg and not going all that fast.

A simple suggestion if I may. Make sure that your fuel saving investment doesn't cost more than the fuel you will save in the life of the vehicle.

Lets say you are getting the average which is 18mpg. Now you want to save fuel so you buy the MM Tune with Cobb AP which is 600 dollars. (Not knocking MM its just the easiest example). He tunes the car out for you and you get 20mpg. So you are getting 1 mile for every 16.5cents of fuel spent before and now you are getting 1 mile for every 15cents spent. so you have gained about 18cents per tank of gas. you would have to fill up your car 3,300 times in order to start making a profit.

All I am saying is look into how much you are spending. If the product you buy costs a couple hundred dollars and you only manage to net 2mpg you wont make a return on your investment. Its a sports car, drive it like one!

A mod that pays for itself is premixing which you should be doing anyway.

IMO there's enough mpg increase to pay for the 2cycle oil, and you get the lube benefit for free!

grounding kit improves MPG? what about those stabilizers like the purple Mega Raizin?
