hmm. I drive mine hard. I barely let it go below 5 rpms if i can help it. I just love the sound and the feeling that I can pass anyone if i want. But i haven't experienced the low gas numbers.

I've filled up 6 times at 1700 miles.
1700/6=283.3
so that's 283.3 miles to the tank.
Our cars hold 15.9 gallons.
283.3/15.9= 17.8
So that's 17.8 mpg
Funny thing is, on tank 6, i still have half of what i purchased.

So, you're saying you only fill up when the tank is bone dry?

Wow myriad...that's EXACTLY what I get on my calculations over a year's worth of ownership. Sounds like our gas pedal feet weigh about the same.

good point - no way is he running the tank dry before each refill so the calculation is not correct .

yeah, good point. so the economy is even better than that. I usually fill up just after 1/4 tank. If I make it 5 fill ups, which would be about right, the mpg is 21.3. There was the 600 mile break in period in which i didn't redline, but i still drove it pretty hard being mindful of course to vary the rpms.

it's an 07.
