GARMIN suction mount problem

I have a garmin nav system and i like to use the suction cup windshield mount.

over the summer it's gotten really hot and melted the suction cup to the windshileld, so when i pulled it off some chunks of plastic stuck to the windshield. nothing a razorblade won't fix, but now the seal on the suctioncup is trashed and it falls down all the time...

anyone have any suggestions short of superglue?

thanks

how about purchasing another suction mount? just take it off and store it in the glove compartment whenever you don't use it. that will prolong it's usage.

Try going to a craft store like Hobby Lobby or something, they sell suction cups and things like that there. You should be able to find a suitable size and replace them...

Anything short of that I'd say learn to not be a nub and break suction cups. (Oh yeah, and stop sucking at DotA.)

I saw you on there last night but when I got back from being AFK you had already logged off.

Does it have turn by turn voice? You don't really need to see the screen if you have that and you can just put it in the center console

Garmin has a friction mount for their GPS now, it's basically a weighted base w/ grippy material on the bottom and you just set it on the dash, should look into that.

I actually have the older version with the 3-pod sticky grip feet, the new version is basically one big beanie bag, i may get that to replace the old one, the old one slides around a bit when i start having some fun behind the wheel lol

You get suction mounts in circuit city that work with any kind of GPS. You should get that for around 7-8$
