Thanks..
So far I am enjoying very much. Like I said before it doesn't handle like the 8 did but the 8 doesn't ride like this does. Oh well.
They can bash all they want, I am the one who baught the car not them, and I wouldn't have baught it if I didn't like it.
Anyway thanks guys for kudos on the new car.
I will be popping in and out from time to time to help some of the new owners since I had my car for so long, I learned alot about it and mostly from here.
Thanks again,
Hagar852

last threadjack... I just recently started applying for jobs that I am 5+ years over the experience req'd and meet my BS degree right on for 135k salary. the means of this car for saving for 3-4 years once landed is not unfeasible.

just a joke, bud.
the odds that an average 8 owner would be able to buy an R8 would have to be through the roof. Otherwise you wouldn't be driving an 8.
sorry if i struck a nerve

didnt strike a nerve. I got an rx8 because of where I was when I first started this job right after college. salary wasn't there to afford anything else. but I am advancing in my career, 2 promotions and have more than doubled my salary with where I am NOW, and am not planning on staying here. I guess I lied when I said the last post was my last threadjack. I guess this one is going to have to be

Grand Chancellor
Old E reminds me of this.
Ouch! E-classes are real good deals. New model is coming out soon. You should've gotten a C32 AMG. And you think the rx-8 depreciates bad.... I like the new W204 C-class. Looks muscular and drives much better than the W203. Good value too.

Damn!! I missed this thread entirely. Sorry to see you dumping the 8, Jim.
This really sucks. I can't say I blame you though. Your post here is awfully forgiving for some of the **** you had to deal with with your 8. Kudos for that.
The benz looks nice. I'll bet you have the cushy seat warmers . . . must be nice this week! Good luck with it.
