RGonza's V8 project was finished and sold. He is back with a 3 rotor, but this time watch out.. He is putting serious time and effort and maybe some money ( hha) in the new build. He want 1200-1300hp on the 20B... I guess he didnt want to take the soul of the 8 out after all.

Thats one of those questions We all want some answers to.. I'm sure RGonza will come thru this time like he usually does, and we will all know the answer to that.. Who knows, we might get some videos of it.... hehe

sorry about that I meant to know the most powerful...and you guys are right about people not driving their cars to their full potential...I'm probably one of them. But there's a difference... Some want to drive the **** out of their cars and some just want to build them...2 different hobbies there. I've always been interested in how much power you can make out of small engines....whether its a rotary or a small 4 cylinder car. Whats the fun in buying a big v8 corvette? I think its cooler when a sleeper 20b pulls on the guy that thought he was a bad *** in that 'vette. I had a guy keep up with me back when i had a 600 gixxer all the way to like 150mph...he was driving an RSX. I even got beat by someone in a CL65 AMG...but u know its nice to have alot of power just to get a quick adrenaline rush on the way home from work. Not too many twisties down in Miami...So my next car I just want lots of power to go in a straight line

Tony says, RX8s are GREAT
Don't forget the Renesis Turbo Bridgeport project. I believe he's making 450whp plus on 15psi, waiting on dyno for proof. But then he plans to go to 20psi.

From a numbers perspective, swapping to a 20b is the biggest financial mistake you can make. Not worth the hassle either. And if you keep the Renesis and take the F/I route, if you end up spending more than 10k on a turbo kit and tuning, you're already wasting money because you have to factor in the potential maintenance issues you may to have to deal with for not keeping it stock. You're already over the 40k threshold there. You can get disgusting deals on low mileage used 08 Vettes for less than 40k, and I bet right now you could even negotiate a base 09 down to the low 40s. If I had a need for hp, that would be straight where my money would go because you can't beat a deal like that. Not a sleeper, but 430 hp, 0-60 in the low 4 seconds, all for under 50k with warranty is just a no brainer in my opinion, from a numbers perspective.

Rx8 with 200hp, rx8 300hp, rx8 400hp...........? As much as I would like to have a 400hp rx8, I don't know how much of that I would use on the streets though I dream about it. I would say a good 350 to the wheels would be perfect for daily driving.
