fastest rx8 here!
So I have the slowest (all stock)...but I'm curious as to who has the fastest rotary here(no ls's please)...I see guys with supras on the internet making like 800hp I'm wondering where we stand at.

that depends...
if it's on the renesis, then I think a bit over 400 whp
if a swap counts, then I think a few rx-8s in puerto rico are pushing some crazy amount of horses to the rear wheels (I think FI tri-rotors).

Way too many people are obsessed with HP these days. I always say, Why didn't you consider that before you bought the current car you're in? Why didnt you buy a Z? Z owners why didnt you buy a Mustang? Mustang owners why didnt you buy a vette? Vette owners why didnt you buy a Viper? etc etc. Always going to be something faster out there and critics. If you buy a Veyron, someone will say well my CCX can do this.
90% of the people I've came across that own a sportscar, only care about what the HP number is. 99% of those people have never fully learned to drive the car they are in, to the full potential and actually used that HP.

Define "Fastest"? I could be driving Rgonza's RX-8 on any given track and I would probably get whooped by some of the class champs here in a stock RX8.
At our local autox events I regulary see Z06's, Vipers, 911 Turbos, Factory Five kit cars, etc. get whooped by a guy in a Miata(he was like national champ or something) with a Jackson Racing SC.
