Fact or Myth? Pulling room fuse yields more power

I heard some people discussing this, and if it is true how much of a significance difference?

true...unless you have a tune or accessport...but ive seen a dyno that shows about 10whp just by pulling the room fuse....but after a few drive cycles the pcm goes back to normal...

You are just resetting your fuel trims, which is just removing the error in your MAF curve (amongst other things) which is corrected by tuning with the AccessPORT or whatever tuning method you choose.
So, it may or may not "add" power for a short period of time until the trims return.

I've done it at a dyno. Little peak power - but a little under the curve.

depends... in my case my car's air-fuel ratios will be in the upper 12's after a ecu reset so thats a significant increase in power over where it eventually settles out to (low 11's afr)

Might as well just get the Cobb AP. That's essentially what you're aiming at doing by pulling that fuse. One is a "ricer" way *LOOK AT MY DYNO SHEET* and one is for performance
