It's possible. I work at a pool and a lot of the 15 and 16 year old lifeguards choose to work 30+ hours a week at about 12 an hour, making (give or take) 1500 a month.

If you can afford the rx8 + insurance you shoudl be able to afford the gas.

Otherwise if you're concerned about the gas, get a smart car or a bicycle.
