Exedy Clutch kits

I see three different Exedy clutch kits offered as OEM
Part number 10803A Most expensive
Part number MZK1002
and also MZK 1007 on several listings on ebay all three are listed interchangably
The only difference I can tell is the 10803 is heavy duty and includes the Pilot bearing seal ??
I see other brands of clutches are a lesser price . ATZ foir one
Whats the difference in a stage one and stage two clutch ?
What would you buy ? Has anyone installed any of these , What do you think ?

The Stage 1 is the one that people have been having issues with. All you need is the OEM Exedy, I am turbo and run it without issue, an NA RX-8 needs nothing more than the OEM clutch. I get mine from Charles at Black Halo Racing, he includes a heavy duty throwout bearing, alignment tool, and pilot bearing and his prices are shipped.

Think long and hard about taking the extra risk buying a Stage1...

Hey guys thanks for the input . Micheal Edwards who builds and races rotary engines in endurance events . Is rebuilding my motor , He recommend the XRT stage two racing clutch at a good cost . So that is what I have bought , Going to replace pilot bearing and seal and throw out bearing .
Hope to have my engine at his shop this week .

Sounds like your mechanic is more concerned with making money then giving you quality build advice/service.
