Well, keep an open mind. Sure, right now, hybrids are used solely for increasing gas mileage. Soon, we'll see performance versions where the two power sources will work together and they will absolutely rock. Think of instant torque in the low end combined with horsepower in the top end.

I have not found a single Hybrid car yet that I would like to own. The ones that I've driven (Insight, Prius, Lexus whatever, Civic, Camry, and a couple SUVs) were just not fun to drive at all.
But I would certainly consider the technology when it comes in a high power version.
i would love to have a rotary with the option of running on batteries or whatever technology for city driving. City driving is what kills the MPG on the rotary anyway
