I remember it; it just doesn't top my list. I had not, however, ever seen that video. That's a trip.

RX-8 Driving Songs - Greatest Hits

I remember The Distance, and love Cake (I eat mine too!).
It's not where I am right now, but I have their Black Sabbath War Pigs cover on tap. The first few bars always make me turn up the volume (from the steering wheel).

I rarely turn on the radio. After years of cranking it in my Miata to be heard over the engine and rattles, I simply love to listen to the motor rev and the transmission gears whine through the shifts. The back windows also create magical wooshing sounds as you pass other objects if the front are closed. ;-)

Some favorite tracks -
9000 rpm by First Gear
Rev it to the Redline by The Renesis Coil Quartet
Wind it Down by The Low Gears

... and a few real songs that I keep ready for when I drive it hard in the curves -
Black Betty by Ram Jam
Oh Well (Part 1) by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac
War Toad (Peace Frog Remix) by Robby Krieger of The Doors
Because We Can by Fatboy Slim from Moulin Rouge Soundtrack
Apache by Michael Viner's Incredible Bongo Band
Take the Power Back by Rage Against the Machine

My top 5 dangerous driving songs in no particular order.

Ready Steady Go - Paul Oakenfold
Black Sunshine - White Zombie
Fuel - Metallica
Hell Yeah - Rev Theory (this song is personally dangerous)
La Grange - ZZ Top

Nuff said.

I usually blast rap. At home, I listen to a variety of things from rock, to rap, to techno and everything else, but there's something about rap that makes it satisfying to drive to.

Been listening to a lot of Kid Cudi lately. Most of his songs have a nice subwoofer-blasting beat to them, so it makes for great cruising music. I usually top it off by having my window rolled down halfway with my cool-guy sunglasses on.

Anything Journey. As long as it is Steve Perry. Arnel is good, but not as good.
