dont know what its called so dont know what to search

all the plastic coverings underneath the hood to dress the engine up. the only ones i have are the fuse box cover and the airbox of course

i dont have the circled red ones and i just think it looks better. can someone give me a hint where to get them. i looked all through rx8 oem part sites and couldn't find them

Battery cover, ECU cover and Engine cover....best to buy them off someone parting out there car...otherwise you will pay a lot

I cant believe you dont have your ECU cover(lwr left in your pic). Make that your need to get asap part.

yea im mad about it all. after the motor swap i never got those parts back. called the mechanic and they "cant find them"

didnt even know there was a classified section (im dumb) posting in there now, if anyone knows anyone selling let me know. thanks for all the help

best thing would be find a part out in the for sale forum (there are tons) or a salvage part out and find one :P

I wouldn't take that for an answer. If they lost the covers, make them pay for the replacement.
On the other hand, of course you should have noticed that they are missing when you got the car back after the swap. After the fact, they can always claim that the covers were in place when you picked up the car...

im in kuwait, my mom was taking care of all of it for me, i got home 3 weeks after the fact and noticed it. sucks but theres really nothing i could do

That sucks.. My dad had some shop completely shear off a stud on his wheel, they put it right back on and let him drive out of there with 3 of 4 lugs attached. They wouldn't fix it since he drove out of there and came back later. Trying to say he did it when its obvious what happened.

I know this was out of your control and that sucks, I never leave anywhere without double checking everything I can on my car. At discount tire they tried to replace my color matched hard plastic valve stem covers with rubber black ones. Never knew how good they looked until I saw the black ones on there.
