Does the Oip Pump fall under the main engine core???????
(Update: OIL METERING PUMP)
If so then i dont need to pay this friggin $2000 to get it fixed... But the guy at the dealership said its not!! Am i paying too much for a next oil pump for $1500 and $700 for labor??????????

Yes...I will search for terms.....any one have the list of that warranty handy...now we find out it's the "OMP"...yes it is external and not covered.

$1500 sounds like a ton of money for the OMP. I would email www.finishlineperformance.com and see what they would charge to order one for you. They're a Mazda Dealer.
Also PM Paul at Mazmart. They can get your a used OMP in good condition for much less than that I'm sure.

Never heard of limp mode issue.
Also a junk yrad is your friend. Plenty of RX8's in there.
