Exclamation Do not touch

hey, just a warning, and alert that i am some sort of idiot.

if you ever drive for 2 hours and then stop back at your house and start checking things on your car cause its nice and out you don't have anything better to do, and you lean underneath it and are like, look at that shiny metal pipe that I think is part of the exhaust manifold......DO NOT TOUCH IT

hahahaha

i think i burnt off 3 of my fingerprints, it was definately the hottest thing i have touched in my entire life

I did that once too. In my defense it was about 20 degrees F outside so my mind just told my hand everything would be cold.

I will say I know better than to touch the exhaust considering I looked under the car one night and saw the exhaust glowing orange! I also have had the cat replaced under warranty before and they gave me a ride home even though I only drove it about 15 minutes that morning. The reason was because the exhaust gets so hot on the 8 that they needed a couple of hours for it to cool before they would even start working on it.

I was putting on a new mid-pipe and accidentally touched my exhaust when it was still warm.
I still have my fingerprints though haha.
