Hey guys, i just joined the forum, i also just bought a 2004 mazda rx8 grand touring edition about 3 days ago. i just wanted to ask you experts about whether or not i got a good deal.

i got the car for 13300, after tax title and license is came out to 14500.

I got an 05 same setup with half the miles for 13900 but with what i've seen in h-town you did good.

I have a 04 GT edition i got for 11500 last month for 57k miles, 2toned leather seats, MT 6sp.

 

i put down 1600, and my monthly payments are 288.
im only 20 and i got approved on my own, interest rate is 4.20
tax and title over here is expensive, the car was only 13300, it came out to 14500 cause of the tax and title. you guys know of any cheap/useful mods i can do to it to get maybe a little more horsepower? i really actually want better mpg haha

Oh man... you bought the wrong car!

 

The deal is on par with your preparation and research.

 

Bought mine same options, winning blue with the appearance package with the spoiler, side effects, and front aero thingy. Only paid 10400, the car had 65250 when I bought it. I think you could have done better. Seeing that you got a 2004 I would buy Mazda's extended warranty before you go over 65000 miles because you cant after that. I strongly recommend it. Also PM me for somethings to check and change that will prevent you from having issues later.

 

That sounds more like it. 13300 is too much with 60k miles.
