Ours seems to be some sort of white hard substance that is very hard to remove, doesn't really look like a sticker. Bought the car off the lot with less than 30mi on it, and it already had the dealer mark on it.

 

I'm glad your dealer removed it.

A suggestion to people reading the forum that haven't bought their RX-8 yet: Write "No dealer logos" on the sales contract when you buy the car. I've done this each time I buy a car. After doing this dealers tend to ask you before even putting their logo license plate holders on the car.

 

I can't believe how many people keep the dealer's license plate frame on their cars. Not only is it trivial to remove, you actually have to remove it when you get your tags from the DMV. But some people just put it back on when they put on their new tags.
