Curious about my spark plug change tomorrow

Hey all...okay I bought my 2006 RX-8 last week and they made me line up a spark plug change tomorrow...any idea why? Did they have probs with some recent spark plugs in the '06 models? The car runs fune but I'm curious as all hell to know why they wanna change em.

The new plugs are part of the new pre-delivery inspaecion that they are supposed to do on the new cars. It will help those cars that have been repeatedly started and shut down cold before delivery.

yeah the reason is to help with cold shutdown so you don't flood....but if you just make sure it's warm before u shut down you will b good to go
